Bugling Bull Elk
Early one morning during the 2012 rut at the refuge, I sat and watched a lot of elk below me in the brush. Every cow had 1 to 3 bulls following her. This cow led 2 bulls up to my location. When the shutter got their attention, he barked at me. When that didn't fix things to his liking, he cut loose with a bugle.
